One of the research topics of the GOHS team of LEGOS is the continental hydrology using space observations. The space altimetry measures the fluctuations of water levels of the continental lakes, and large rivers. The space gravimetry assess the variations of water stocks of the grounds and the snow cover.

The Water level available products are :
  Water level time series for lakes, rivers, floodplains and reservoirs
  Time series of water surface volumes over floodplains (not yet in the data base)
