POLDER - PARASOL project

In order to avoid the variations due to changes in angular conditions, the NDVI is calculated from the directional albedos at 670nm and 865nm. Thus, NDVI is corrected for directional effects.

The POLDER-1/ADEOS-1 and POLDER-2/ADEOS-2 NDVI are included in the product "Albedo and Vegetation" that can be ordered through the POLDER Data Distribution Center.

One year of POLDER-3/PARASOL NDVI, from July 2005 to July 2006 (below), can be downloaded with an algorithmic description and a technical document. The validation of the new version of product, resulting from the change in albedo assessment, is in progress.
