Algorithms applied to POLDER-1/ADEOs-1 and POLDER-2/ADEOS-2 data assess the FCover using the relationship FCover = 1- exp(-0.5*LAI). Figure below show an example of POLDER-1 FCover.

FCover is included in the POLDER-1 and POLDER-2 "Albedo and Vegetation" product, accessible through the POLDER Data Distribution Center. The POLDER-2 FCover has been validated by Medias-France : results are available in a validation report.
